EFMD Excellence in Practice Awards Recognise Five Outstanding Partnerships in Learning & Development
Now in its fourth year, the Excellence in Practice Awards recognise and promote outstanding partnerships between companies and learning and development providers.
BRUSSELS, BELGIUM, May 03, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- "I would like to warmly congratulate the winners of this year's Excellence in Practice Award. The Award is growing in prestige and, at a time when learning and development faces many challenges, it is extremely satisfying for EFMD to see and reward exceptional programmes, partnerships and alliances that demonstrate the very best of what can be achieved through collaboration in executive, workforce, talent and organizational development," said Prof. Eric Cornuel, Director General & CEO of EFMD.
"This year we received close to 40 entries for the awards and despite the challenging economic times the cases clearly show that learning and development efforts which focus on 'business impact' and align with the strategic priorities of the companies involved have continued. Developing people, enhancing skills and providing a learning environment are essential components of a differentiating human capital strategy for any company and the diversity of the winners is testament to this," said Dr. Richard Straub, Director of Development at EFMD.
The 5 winners were short-listed by an international jury-panel and the winning partnerships will be presenting their case during a workshop at the EFMD Annual Conference on 6-8th June 2010 in Germany.
