Ms. Skelton has three years of professional experience. She began her career in journalism, and when she took a temporary position in communications and marketing, she loved it and stayed with it.

In 2007, Ms. Skelton received her Bachelor of Arts in Communications, Magna Cum Laude, from George Mason University. She is a volunteer volleyball coach for the Northern Virginia Volleyball Association and the founder and president of the Recent Graduate Network.
