Mr. Manis, a certified fundraising manager, oversees business operations, manages direct mail solicitations, develops and executes fundraising programs, and builds relationships with corporations, establishing regional partnerships with community groups and foundations. He is an expert in prospect identification and cultivation. He specializes in marketing, sales, supervision, training, managing public affairs, building media and community relationships, and economic and community development. Mr. Manis considers becoming the director of the foundation to be his greatest professional accomplishment. He has written various internal training manuals for Verizon Communications, Inc. He stays current with the trends in his profession by attending conferences.

Mr. Manis earned his Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from Southern Illinois University. He is a member of the Southern Illinois University Alumni Association and is affiliated with the Association of Fundraising Professionals and Sons of the American Legion. He works to overcome issues regarding the lack of resources and plans to maintain stable relationships with current resources and community groups for the highest integrity of the organization.
